1. No autohitting, godmoding, killing, or yiffing (including rape). If I find any of these things on the boards or they are reported to have occured in private messages, the offender will get a warning. Second offense is a temprary ban. Third is a permanent ban.
2. No decendants of Voldemort or any of the Death Eaters without my permission. Do not ask unless you've proved yourself worthy of such a character and able to roleplay and control such a character without breaking any rules.
3. No Animagi, Metamorphmagi, Parselmouths, Seers, or any other extraordinary magical powers without permission. To get permission, please send me a private message BEFORE appying asking for permission. If permission is granted, I will give you a word to link into the sentence "With permission from Desdemona with a word of ________." You will be required to put this sentence into your application. If it is not present, you will not be able to attain that skill, unless you apply for another character (you will have to re-ask for permission, I'm afraid).
4. No more than four characters, please. One for each house. Prefects and techers may have only one or two more. Also, no more than one character in a position of power. That means someone cannot have a prefect character and a teacher chaharter, or two teacher characters, or a headmaster character and a teacher character, or any variation of those combinations. Please, do not apply for a position of power once you've already gained one. It's waisting my time and yours.
5. No unusual pets without asking, and you must ask for permission in the same way as you'd ask for a special skill, such as Animagi or Parselmouths. Anyone asking for an unusual pet will aslo have to abide by the sentence rule or otherwise settle for a normal pet.
Normal pets: Rat, Toad, Cat, Owl, Mouse, small birds.
Magical creatures, such as dragons, are forbidden. Don't even ask.
6. No werewolves or vampires, unless you've proved yourself able to handle such a creature.
7. Please, no extravagant wands. Stick by the usual cores and woods.
Cores: Dragon Heartstring, Unicorn hair, Phoenix feather, Veela hair.
Woods: Cherry, Ash, Oak, Pine.
Occasionally I may accept other cores, or woods, but they will never be... unusual or rare.

9. Please respect others. If they don't want a particular thing happening to their character, respect that. That goes to everyone, but emphasis is put on nasty characters, werewolves, and vampires.

13. Any Wizarding laws mentioned in the book or otherwise are to be obeyed.
